Maquette's 1/35 scale ASU-57
is available online from Squadron.com
I have to admit that I don't really know much about the ASU-57, but when
I did receive the kit I was impressed.
What a sleek little vehicle.
What I also liked was the fact that it was used
by Airborne units.
Inside the box are five small sprues containing a
myriad of parts including separate track links.
The instructions are very basic and parts
placement will need a lot of care.
What is impressive is the level of detail,
extensive interior, and gun detail.
The decal sheet in this set is very small with
markings for one vehicle only - USSR Airborne 1961.
Maquette's 1/35 scale ASU-57 looks to be a nice
model, and certainly an interesting subject. I would recommend this kit
to Soviet armour modellers and to anyone else who wants to do something
different.
