Zvezda's 1/35
scale BMD-1 is available online from Squadron.com
It is always great to see an all-new tool kit from Zvezda, and this one is
no exception.
Everything inside the box of Zvezda's new 1/35 scale BMD-1 Soviet Airborne
Tank looks top quality. So what is in the box?
The kit comprises four sprues of well detailed parts in dark green
injection moulded plastic, plus four lengths of vinyl tracks. The kit parts
are complimented with nicely laid out instructions with full-colour, computer
generated pictures and camouflage/marking reference for the vehicle.
The decals also look to be a big improvement over earlier efforts, as they
are no longer that frighteningly flat finish that seems to silver whatever you
do! These new decals also seem to be much thinner, and higher quality overall.
In summary, I think that this is a great model. From what I can see here, I
am looking forward to future releases from Zvezda of the same quality.
Keep an eye out for the finished kit on HyperScale soon!
