FirstLook

The GAZ M415 Pickup Truck was produced between 1939 and 1941, making it appropriate for an appearance in almost any diorama scene from the Great Patriotic War.

Maquette's 1/35 scale GAZ M415 Russian Pickup is a very cool looking model that includes a complete interior and engine. The kit comprises part both in resin and injection moulded plastic.

The resin parts are very fine, crisply detailed and well presented, but will need a little care in cleaning up. The plastic parts will need to have some flash removed too. Apart from that, there will not be a lot of work required to assemble the vehicle.

A nice touch is the inclusion of die-punched acetate windows for the vehicle.

This is an interesting kit of a useful vehicle, either as a standalone model, as part of a military diorama or even as an airfield accessory for a 1/32 scale Soviet aircraft model.

The level of preparation required will make this kit most appropriate for modellers who have some experience with multimedia kits.
