Maquette's
1/35 scale GAZ M415 Russian Pickup
is available online from Squadron.com
The GAZ M415 Pickup Truck was produced between
1939 and 1941, making it appropriate for an appearance in almost any
diorama scene from the Great Patriotic War.
Maquette's 1/35 scale GAZ M415 Russian Pickup is
a very cool looking model that includes a complete interior and engine.
The kit comprises part both in resin and injection moulded plastic.
The resin parts are very fine, crisply detailed
and well presented, but will need a little care in cleaning up. The
plastic parts will need to have some flash removed too. Apart from that,
there will not be a lot of work required to assemble the vehicle.

A nice touch is the inclusion of die-punched acetate windows for the
vehicle.
This is an interesting kit of a useful vehicle,
either as a standalone model, as part of a military diorama or even as
an airfield accessory for a 1/32 scale Soviet aircraft model.
The level of preparation required will make this
kit most appropriate for modellers who have some experience with
multimedia kits.
