Italeri's new Sd.Kfz.10/4 with Flak 30 is actually
based on a very old (but still quite good) ESCI kit. The brand new
ammunition trailer is a nice addition. The sot ground/sand channels are
also nice to have. The package is rounded out with four crew figures.
It is nice to see this classic kit back in this new
guise.

It has been more than 20 years since I built the
original ESCI kit, and I look forward to building this one. I will be
substituting the kit track links with Model Kasten workable tracks,
adding a Jordi Rubio barrel to the 20mm gun and probably use Hornet
heads on the crew figures.

Italeri's 1/35 scale Sd.Kfz.10/4 with Flak 30 has
plenty of potential for dioramas and superdetailing. This is a
worthwhile kit that will also deliver a good representation straight
from the box.
