Although 1/72 is not my usual choice of scale, I could not resist this one when it was offered for review as the Stummel is one of my favourite wheeled vehicles.

Inside the box are four sprues of well-moulded styrene, a set of decals and good quality instructions.

For a kit of its size I was very surprised with the level of detail. The underside is nicely done with all the suspension and drive train visible. This area offers plenty of potential for super detailing freaks. The interior is also very well done with seating, breech detail and machine gun. The exterior detail si good too, but the grab handles are a little on the heavy side and would benefit from replacement (using fine wire or similar).

Another plus is the decal sheet, which offers five options. The decals appear to be of high quality on the sheet.

In summary, this is a top little kit that should turn out a great looking Stummel withcareful assembly and painting.
