Sherman Late Production High Bustle Turret

Trakz has released a replacement turret for Tamiyas M4A3 kits, Dragons Hybrid M4 Composite or to convert the Dragon M4A2 76 to a Late Dry Storage 75mm M4A2 as used by the USMC.

There are five pieces mould in a cream coloured resin. You get a hollow turret with the cast in cheek armour on the gunners side, casting and foundry marks and a beautiful cast texture that will respond well to weathering and dry brushing. Also included is an M34A1 outer mantlet, a late vision cupola and hatch. You could also use the earlier split hatch as both were seen on this version. Last up, you get the turret ring that locks in the turret to the hull just like in the Tamiya Kits.

There were two holes in the resin that needed to be filled and you don’t get a barrel or loaders hatch., so I guess it will need to come from the donor kit or the spares box.

I highly recommend this to any Sherman nut out there.
