Issue
5 starts with Carmel Zammit's unusual 1/48 Me 262A-1a/U built by combining
Trimaster and Tamiya kits.
We shift into high gear with the first of two installments featuring Albert
Tureczeks stunning B-58 Hustler - a master class in bare metal and detail work.
Franck Oudin keeps it French with his beautiful Hasegawa F4U-7 finished with
Jaguar resin, MDC decals and a touch of Gallic flair.
Yannick Pondaven then kicks off the first of several articles on the P-38
Lightning with his highly detailed interpretation of the Hasegawa 1/48 kit.
David Doyle provides a background to this distinctive aircraft with a potted
history of the development of the P-38.
Xtreme Detail-P38 by David Doyle.
Rolando Ugolini wraps it all up with profiles of 10 P-38s.
David Parker goes off on a tangent with a multi stage demonstration of figure
painting techniques.
And finally, new products of interest are showcased in AIR Born.
