With the recent release of Tamiya's T-55 tank, Warriors have
demonstrated a good sense of timing by producing a three-man NVA tank crew
in 1/35 scale.
There are two partial figures and one full, standing Commander. One of
the partial figures is a simple upper torso and head designed to stick out
of a driver's hatch. The second partial figure has a whole body, separate
arms and head, making him suitable for a slightly more elevated turret
position.
Casting of all parts is perfect on my sample. Detail is superb.
The slight stature and Asian facial features are captured well. These
features are complimented by simple fatigues with rolled up sleeves and
open collars.
Warriors' NVA Tank Crew might also be used to represent members of
other Asian armies too.
I do hope that we see new Arab and Eastern Bloc crews in this series
soon too.
Regardless of their nationality, Warriors' 1/35 scale NVA Tank Crew
will be an attractive and versatile accessory for your Far Eastern armour
project!
Recommended.
