Warriors has released the first in a new series of figures designed to
compliment Tamiya's new 1/48 scale armour kits.

Warriors set 48001 - Tiger I Crew comprises one full figure and three
partial figures. The four figures are broken down into a total of eleven
resin parts. Casting is as crisp and impressive as we have come to
expect from Warriors, and sculpting is very nicely done even in this
smaller scale. The figures appear to be suited for cooler weather.
Although the figures are specifically labeled as a Tiger crew, they
would be equally at home in almost any 1/48 scale German armoured
vehicle. Indeed, the poses are quite generic, offering maximum
versatility.
This is a very welcome release from Warriors. Considering
the quality and ease of construction of Tamiya's new 1/48 scale armour
and vehicles, I fervently hope that these are just the first of a large
and long running series of quarter inch scale crew and accessories!
Recommended.
